Move aside Whitney Chewston, there’s a new homophobic dog in town. Whitney, a miniature dachshund, went viral in 2021 for a photo of her standing next to a wine glass seemingly side-eyeing the camera to which someone had added the caption, “Not too fond of gay people,” and the rest was history.

Now, another tiny dog has come along to take Whitney’s crown as the most bigoted dog on the internet. In a video posted to TikTok by a user named Glizzie McGuire, a man can be seen pecking another man on the lips. Standing on the other man is a very angry chihuahua, or perhaps a gremlin, who reacts negatively every time the two men kiss. By the end of the video, it’s considerably agitated and growling, and someone else intervenes and grabs the dog’s head before he can commit an actual hate crime.

Naturally, everyone is now obsessed with this dog, with several people pointing out how strange the noises it makes are and its satanic glowing red eyes, clearly a sign that the dog is an agent of the devil himself. One person commented, “I’ve never seen a chihuahua that wasn’t homophobic tbh,” which raises more questions than answers, frankly. Who is making these dogs homophobic? Are they just born that way? Is that what Lady Gaga was singing about?

In a second video, the OP added the sound of Marguerite Perrin, aka God Warrior from Trading Spouses, screaming, “She’s not a Christian!” over the top — clearly, the chihuahua was channeling this woman. Either that or he’s just incredibly protective and easily jealous, but I’m almost certain it’s homophobia.
