There is basically an unlimited supply of products, tools, and items that can make our lives easier or help us accomplish tasks in a much shorter period of time. But sometimes those items have hidden purposes or functions we aren't aware of, or we might not even know what they are used for.
These items are pretty strange, but in reality they have simple explanations.

“This thing has about 60 twisty screws embedded into it. It has me stumped.” Answer: “It’s for making spun sugar.” -

“What is this wooden item?” Answer: “It’s an easel! It would have had a horizontal shelf piece that could slide up or down the long slit down the middle.” -

“I found this in an old house. It’s made out of metal with a hook at the bottom and what looks like a hanger on the top.” Answer: “It’s a clockwork spit turner for a fireplace.” -
