Throw a few newspapers into a fresh garbage bag to soak up any disgusting juices that might make their way into the bin. -

If you’ve sealed up an envelope only to find that you want to add something else to it, stick it in the freezer for an hour. This will undo the adhesive, allowing you to open and seal it back up once again. -
