If you’ve ever spent a significant amount of time in a punk house, you’ve probably realized that its lore is longer than Lord of the Rings.

From the many people who are no longer allowed in the house, to explanations about the various signs of fire around the building, to the one roommate who makes life hell for everyone else, the supposed community of love and understanding bred by a punk house can often be uprooted by a serious enough incident.

Recently, X/Twitter user @aromantic_romeo posted a thread asking people to share “the incident” that happened in their punk house — and the responses made us glad that we now have our own apartments.
