To a dog, every day is pretty great. 

Wake up, go to the bathroom, run around the house, eat toilet paper off the roll, go to sleep. But sometimes, for a reason that the canine mind is unable to comprehend, their owner will dress them in a cute little paper hat, hang streamers around the house, and serve them up a mouthwatering steak studded with candles.

No matter how many times this happens, it is the greatest day of a dog’s life. And after it’s over, it will be seven long dog years of eating boring old kibble until the next one.
