When you hear the word vandalism, more than likely a negative connotation comes to mind for most people. Your mind probably immediately goes to people destroying, altering, or damaging something. The reasons why could be as widely varied as the forms of vandalism such as political motivation, religious reasons, or perhaps just wanting to satisfy a need to destroy and be destructive. Even the definition of vandalism in the dictionary is stated as "action involving deliberate destruction of or damage to public or private property".

This doesn't always have to be the case, however. There are many non-destructive or non-damaging forms of vandalism that can be light-hearted and funny. From placing a sticker onto a sign to hand-drawn additions to posters or images to adding something else (see the Mario jumping out of the pipe image) else entirely to the scene to spice things up.
