35 Vintage Drug Ads for An Old-School High
Every single thing you were warned about in D.A.R.E started off as a product that was advertised as some sort of miracle cure that was pushed to patients by stupid doctors who didn’t look into the side effects. This means there are a ton of bright, positive old-school ads for the drugs that are now destroying everything.
Go back to a simpler time, when the opioid crisis was more of an opioid party, with a great marketing team. Laugh at, and get a bit scared by, ads for cocaine, cheerful write-ups on morphine, and Rush Limbaugh going to bat for OxyContin. Really – Rush went hard for Oxy. If we didn’t know better, we’d say he was addicted to it.
Forget the side effects for a minute and get an old-school high. But not really – please just look at the pictures and don’t do any of these.
