Humanity has to get on board with these things.

It’s well-known that one consequence of global warming is rising sea levels. Eventually, our coastal cities will be flooded and destroyed, and most people are unprepared for it. But some people are ahead of the game and have built the things that will probably save humanity from a watery grave.

Historically sea forts, come in a few classes, like the ones built in the English Channel to ward off invasions in World War 2 that still stand, the country known as Sealand, and oil rigs and lighthouses.
