Catholics love their saints, maybe a little too much. It’s an ancient tradition to preserve (sometimes not so well) pieces of saints– body parts, bones, blood, or whatever they can get their hands on– in ornate bedazzled containers called reliquaries.

Sure, it’s all very holy and virtuous, except that it looks like the evil lair of a cultist from a fantasy movie. Why do Catholics hold onto this stuff? You think Saint Jude is gonna be happy that you’re rubbing his severed arm?

Seriously guys, throw this stuff away. It’s fucking creepy.
