While working with the FBI and Shiawassee County Sheriff's Office, Chris Hansen busted a then 45-year-old man attempting to solicit a 15-year-old girl. The suspect, Thomas Eugene Bates, accepted a plea deal and was sentenced to five years of probation for "Children - Accosting for Immoral Purposes."
