I didn’t know this was even possible. This family in China tried to make an old favorite: fried sweet potato balls. Unfortunately for them, they screwed up the recipe somehow — and now, the balls are exploding and sending hot oil everywhere.

The way these boys blow up is almost cartoonish. One by one, they simply “poof” into a doughy mess, leading to laughter and occasional terror from the people in the kitchen as they get sprayed with scalding hot fry oil.

Yeah, I’ll just stick with normal fries, thanks.
