Joy Behar Faceplants in Front of ‘The View’ Castmates and Audience

Joy Behar, the 79-year-old comedian and a host on The View, was walking out onstage at the start of the live show when she took a nasty fall just before reaching her seat. In the dramatic moment, cameras captured Behar face-planting on the stage on live TV in front of the audience. Behar needed the help of Haines and Hostin to get back on her feet, and a production assistant also ran onstage for added support.

Behar's castmates and the live audience were relieved that she was not injured during the fall. Behar was quoted as saying “Twenty-five years, that has never happened — who do I sue?!”. Behar who first appeared on the show back in 1997, turned sersious for a second telling audience members and viewers to always monitor your symptoms after a fall.

“The main thing — just to talk seriously — when Bob Saget fell, he died,” Behar said. “If you hit your head, and you feel dizzy or you have blurred vision, or you feel like you want to go to sleep, go to the doctor. Because that will kill you.”

Last week, Behar made headlines and was blasted online after she complained that the war in Ukraine could impact her planned vacation to Italy.
