If you go out into the woods, there’s always a chance that you’ll be met by a creature who wouldn’t mind having you dead. That’s exactly what happened to social media influencer David Humphlett, who was filming himself peeling bark from a tree when he was suddenly bitten by an eastern diamondback rattlesnake.

Unbelievably, not only did he manage to document the whole process on video, but he seems to have survived after getting 88 vials of antivenom. According to First Coast News, he says he’s not mad at the snake (better man than me) and that he hopes to go back to creating content once he’s fully healed.

Sounds good — just stay away from the snakes this time around.
