Stranded Man Flags Down Rescue Plane with Mirror
Seeing our government miserably fail to help those affected by Hurricane Helene, people are starting to take things into their own hands. And by “people,” I mean NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, who has personally decided to deliver aid to people in “unreachable” places using a helicopter.
This is a fairly difficult task, as many people are scattered post-hurricane — and the fact that several roads have been washed away doesn’t make things any easier. But Biffle is trying his best and managing to do some incredible work in the process.
Recently, one man who was left stranded by the hurricane tried to get Biffle’s attention. His method? A big mirror — and by God, it worked.
The mirror that caught our attention well over a mile away only way we we were able to find someone stranded in the mountains at bottom of steep canyon. 6 attempts to land due to difficulty but we got there - got him a chainsaw, EpiPens, insulin, chicken food, formula, gas, 2… pic.twitter.com/Wdl4w7hMZM
