Two Jets Collided During a Training Exercise
Both pilots managed to eject in time.
On March 25th, two jets that were part of the Patrouille de France — think of it as France’s answer to the Blue Angels — crashed into each other while rehearsing.
According to The Aviationist, the two pilots and a passenger ejected safely, were found conscious and are currently receiving medical care. As far as the planes themselves go, one aircraft struck a silo at a nearby industrial site and started a fire, while the other reportedly landed in a canal.
